SSM Health Wisconsin Regional EMS Medical Director
Stephanie is a licensed paramedic and registered nurse. In her role as EMS Coordinator, she is actively building relationships with our pre-hospital partners and working to fulfill the needs of our local and regional EMS agencies in order to assist in the ultimate goal of providing exceptional care to our patients. Having grown up within the EMS community and actively working up from EMT to paramedic in both volunteer and career services for the past 16 years, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the program. Her background allows her to easily relate to prehospital providers of all levels and understand the challenges that many services face.

As an emergency room nurse for the last 10 years she has been able to bridge the relationships between prehospital and hospital partners in order to work towards a goal of improved patient outcomes and overall satisfaction. An active member of the Dane County EMS community, Stephanie is an appointed member of the Dane County EMS Commission and serves on a number of subcommittees including medical advisory and operating practices as well as the Madison Area Technical College EMS Advisory Board. Furthermore, her interest in emergency preparedness has led her to maintain a role within the Dane County inter-hospital emergency preparedness committee and function as a hospital liaison for the emergency operations center. Though a lot of her prior experience has been in the Dane County area, she is excited to utilize her skills to start building our program on a more regional level.
