Madison Emergency Physicians

Madison Fire Department firefighters and paramedics are getting a new option on where to take victims on the east side.  Officials announced on Tuesday the addition of the St. Mary\\\'s Sun Prairie Emergency Center at 2840 O\\\'Keefe Avenue as a facility the Madison department can use for emergencies.

Madison Emergency Physicians (MEP), the group of board-certified emergency doctors that staffs the Upland Hills Health Emergency Department, recently made a generous donation to Upland Hills Health, to purchase an Advanced Life Support mannequin, for training staff and community members.

The Upland Hills Health Foundation Board of Directors would like to announce that a bench in honor and celebration of the lives of Mark Coyne, Steve Lipperer, and Dr. Darren Bean, the Flight Crew from the May 10, 2008 Med Flight One tragedy, has been recently placed outside the Emergency Services door.

An emergency visit can be stressful - not just to the patient, but also to family and friends who are waiting for their loved one's treatment.  Thankfully, the Emergency Department at Upland Hills Health continues to improve the experience for patients and their families every day.
